I would like to add an additional measure to Airline security...

Yes, we have Air Marshals on the plane now. This is a very good thing. Well, why dont they seat large individuals or those with hand to hand combat skills in strategic points on the plane. Have a questionere for passengers to fill out. Have these people pointed out to the air marshall and crew when they get aboard. You would have a large increase in security on the plane. Almost like airline bouncers. Just a thought.

yo, i was on this plane one time and this weird looking dude went in the bathroom for a while. i was thinking that if he had one of those shoe bombs he could just set it off in there. that made the blaze kind of nervous.

another time i was on a place and some dude started screaming in his sleep. i didnt know he was sleeping and i was about to run over and johnblaze his crazy ass!!!!!

JohhnyJuice... it's already happening informally. If there is an empty seat in first class... stewardesses are grabbing us big guys and bumping us up to the front of the plane.

same here!! i look forward to the day when only i can fly on airplanes.... seriously though, they need to do a lot more for security.. every time im at the airport i spot at least 5 ways i can by-pass security.

Don't forget that Air-Marshals are trained specially for in-air situations - Placing hand to hand combat experts or large individuals in strategic places would be unwise incase they decided to try and be a hero at the wrong time, therby risking everyones life in the plane, not knowing the full concequenes of there actions. + the air-marshals have special low pwr guns that will not pass through a person (and hit another or compromise the integrity of the plane).

If I wanted to really take over a plane or kill at least one air marchal I could do it very easily without weapns or any fancy unarmed combat skills, how ?.

I'd untie my show lace and garot the fucker, Mafia style if you like!. I could use it on the pilot too. No knives, carpet cutters, razorsm guns are shoe bombs........simple shoe laces.
