i live a tough patch for the most part. But, as with my insomnia thread i am just overly emotional at the moment.
 
I am the girl who never sleeps.. i am the gym most days at 4am because i have nothing better do and no one else is up.. so i know all bout not sleeping and what it can do to your mind

its called lack of REM sleep. If it is where most memories are consolidated or forgotten, and we miss it... wouldn't it make us go crazy over time? :)
 
Hmm if it happens out of no where yes.. if it is a habit that has developed over time no..

it is a proven fact that some ppl actually require less sleep than other to regenerate...

For some ppl getting the mind to settle down is an impossible task...It's all very complicated

I get an avg 3-4 hrs of sleep a nite if that.. sometimes i got up to three days without sleeping at all..

I would argue the exact opposite of that, but I am just one man. :) the problem is: most people tend to rebound the stages of sleep they miss depending on what sleep they missed. temperature and light play huge roles in regulating that phenomenon. Most pharm. agents we take have some effect on REM sleep. most chemicals which have effects on REM sleep actually suppress it.
