umm...are people retarded? i am beginning to think so.

one of my friends from AIT found out her unit is being deployed and that she is on the list to go, so what does she do? she asks me to fucking marry her.

i knew something was up when she has been calling me like non-stop for the past two weeks and scheduling a vacation to come out here and stay with me, but, come on, this is nuts.

wow!

first of all, i am the master of sound logic and reason at all times, so i would never go along with something this stupid or crazy. secondly, i am totally anti-marriage right now.

this just put me in an incredibly awkward position.
 
plus, you know, you are poink, so that in and of itself begs the question as to why she would ask you to marry her. jk

can you at least scam some pussy outta the situation (w/out getting married)? Fuk, I would at least try...

i was genuinly curious......yeah, most girls are crazy.....there are a few normal ones, but where's the fun in that?

been there, done that.

we had a few people in my company marry each other after fucking around, but this guy was never one of them.

i really wish she wouldnt have done some weird, off-the-wall shit like this, because it really does put me in a weird position.

i'm just always in argumentative mode while i'm on here, because i like debating people, and i hardly know anyone my age that follows politics and can put a coherent thought together.

i'm as calm as a hindu cow in real life.

I'm missing why it puts you in a wierd position. Her question reveals something about her personality - something that should scream "run" to you.

besides being crazy and scaring the hell out of me by doing shit like this, she is a nice person. i would never get involved with someone like her, though.
 
She's looking for a sense of security during a period in her life that is probably causing her great stress. This off the wall request would prolly be indicative of the odd stuff she'd do during other stressing times in her life. Not something I'd want to look forward to handling...
 
Maybe you can just attribute it to stress? It's a very strange and uncomfy position to put someone in. Completely illogical. I'd say you should decline and let her know she'll be missed.

oh, not at all. i rarely put up with people's crap, but i don't see any problem in being friendly still, especially since i have no delusions of actually getting involved with her.
 
she just called like 2 minutes ago, but i'm too chicken shit/smart to answer my phone.

god, girls are fucking creepy! even my roommate, who is a girl, agrees with me.

nevertheless, this will be one of those things i don't tell my mom when she calls and asks how everything has been. she would probably get rather upset.
 
Chicks are like that sometime. I started seeing one awhile back, who cut me the hell loose within a month over some silly stuff, but on our first date she was already asking me questions starting with, "So, if we got married one day....", "Are you looking to get married any time soon..."(actually I've heard this a couple times, and it scares me off... sorry but that puts up a bit of a red flag when you JUST meet a girl and she asks that), "So like if you proposed to me, how would you do it... would you ask my father first..."

What's fucked up is, I really kind of liked her, and was willing to put up with these questions... anywho, I lost my pics of her I had scanned ONE and sent it to tigger88 some time back, but I don't know if he still has it.

either way its tough to answer her as do u want her to leave with this regret on her mind, or tell her you dont see her like that and have her leave potentially with regret in her heart
