I want this upset

the only person on the nets worth rooting for is jason kidd.. whose a cool mofo.. whether he beats his wife or not.. but the rest of his team are a bunch of morons..

it'll never happen...

lakers in 5

Anytime someone mentions Jason Kidd, I can't help but think of his kid's monstrous noggin.

If they made a bobblehead from him, they'd have to make the head smaller.

i kind of like kenyon martin too. Hes fun to watch. Maybe he'll go postal and punch shaq in the asscraq. Luscious harris is an overlooked great shooter too. Hes butter. The rest i could really care less either way. They have a shot though.

Kenyon is an entertaining guy. I was LMAO when he was messing with Alonzo Mourning, pretending he was gonna start boxing, but then backed up with a big smile. Alonzo was pretty pissed if I remember it right.

the lakers are emotionally spent from playing the kings, however they'll win it in 5 maybe 6. look for the refs to keep it close by calling fouls in favor of New Jersey. this is probably the worst lakers team they've put on the floor in the last 3 years, but still good enough to beat the the nets.

I will do the same and go with Lakers in 5 1/2 for the foul reason.

It was pretty clear that the Lakers are the only ones who can beat the Lakers (in this series). What a boring ass game. I'm so use to them playing from behind, even against Portland. The Lakers allowed the Nets to get within 3 points with about 4 minutes left. <yawn> Will Shaq make the free throws? <yawn> What drama, What suspense, what else is on?

It's better off they didn't win game one. Nets need to realize that they need to bring their game up one more notch. Just a small set back that will set it up for a nice come back.

Fist, I really admire your optiism. Sure the Nets didn't play up to their potential. Neither did the Lakers. Well they did for about 12 minutes and then as Shaq said post game, "we were just messin with them." We saw how bad it can get and they didn't control the game with either Spurs or Kings. They had to fight hard and tonight was cruise control.

The Lakers are more focused on the road. They won 2 of 4 in Arco Arena, the hardest place for a road win. I don't see Jersey winning 2 of 3 at home and sending it back to LA. But hey, what do I know.

Oh yeah, and of course they went 2-0 in San Antonio, a very tough place to win. Of course, the Spurs totally collapsed in the fourth quarter in one of those games. New Jersey doesn't do that do they?

Not this time around.

That's because they will be playing from behind the entire (short) series.

I think they've already collapsed, after jumping out to an electrifying 4-2 lead.
