I want children

Mother nature is calling. I want to have kids, i don't know what's got into me. I think i'm ready to hang the dancing shoes up, give up the late night partying and womanising.

I want a boy and girl. I'm going to have a look at some station wagons this weekend.

Is this normal behaviour for a man of 29. I don't have a wife or girlfriend at this point, but i think i might finally be ready to put the womanising days behind me. Lately i find that i'll see a woman walking her stroller up the street and i'll stop her and play with her baby, y'know koochykoo and shit.

Lately I've been having dreams that I have a baby, and that I'm the happiest I've ever been....I want a babyyyyyyyyyyy :(

but wait I'm too young....but yeah it's a nice thought, marriage and kids, brings a big smile to my face :D

If you really want a kid, You can have Muscular Warrier.

Hey, I hear you . I have an 11 year old son and we are VERY close. His mother and I parted ways when he was 2. Lately I see families together and it makes want to be in that situation. Then I hear my brother and friends bitch about their wifes and I think twice. OK I'm just babbling on...

Yeah, but that's normal for a girl. Should a man be felling all fatherly and stuff at a certain age?

I can't wait to have children. Of course I want to make sure that I have my life all planed out and organized before I have children. Anyways, theres nothing more I rather be but a good father to my children. :)

I hear ya Mysterio. I think i'd make a good dad. There would be nothing better than going to the gym with your son, spotting each other and working out together and so on:)

Yeah I'am looking forward to it. :)

I am in early to mid twenties, I do not want to be a father because I don't want the responsibility. I wouldn't mind responsibility from time to time, or even for, say, a week. But the thought that I would be responsible for YEARS scares the fuck out of me. I am thinking of becoming a "Big Brother". The only problem is, I don't do a lot of neat/fun stuff. My "Little Brother" would have to be some kid satisfied with going hiking and shit like that.

Maybe it is best I do not breed.

Do you people really want kids?

I think you like the "idea" of having offspring, but to actually be responsable for another human life....? Think long and hard before ventuing down that road.

Personally, I'm dead set against having children before I'm 30.

I like other peoples babies just fine, though. :)

Vinylgroover,

Given that you are 29 you should have no trouble finding a wonderful lady whos biological clock is ringing so hard that you can her it from a mile away. Children with all the work that is involved are the truest joy we have.

Damn, look at Larry King.....He's got a few toddlers running around and he's older than dirt.

Find the right lady, enjoy one another , then have kids.

With age comes patience, or so in my case it did! I was in my middle 30's when I had our child......

:FRlol:
I resemble that remark! ;)

Groover,

There are more things to having kids than meets the eye. I was 30 before we had our first and now I have two. Don't get me wrong, kids are wonderful, wonderful creatures and I love mine dearly. But for someone not married yet or not serious with anyone, haing kids can be difficult. Once you have them, they are yours forever. They grow so fast and the expenses can be overwhelming. Of course, I wouldn't change a thing regarding my children. I would have two more if my wife would agree but I have already been neutered so my days are over for having more plus my wife had a lot of difficulties during her pregnancies. If you are up to it, I say go for it!

For Mysterio.....if you wait until you have your life planned out and get everything in line before you have children, sadly, you will never have them. You just have to do it but you are young so you have plenty of time but time has a way of speeding up very fast as you get older.

Tell me about I swear I was like 25 the other day. ;)

I'm 22 and have 1 son (14 months old) and a baby girl due in October. Kids change you for the better...they will definetly make your reevaluate your life and priorities. I love coming home and playing with my son for hours on the floor....:fro:

I was rudely awakened this morning, due my neighbor's crying baby. It wasn't just an ordinary cry, but it was high-pitched and of different loudness. This is the second time it's happened. It killed me. I slammed my window shut in utter disgust. I hate the sound of crying babies of all the sound in this world. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention my neighbor's are very poor now due to the high costs of babies. Oh yeah, I think they are going crazy.

Man, that is right on the money. Whenever I hear a wailing baby, I shudder at the thought of having one of those of my own to take care of and provide for. I went down to Florida last April to see a buddy of mine from high school. He had had two daughters since then- one was two and one was less than a year. It suuuucked. I was actually happy to leave.

I came from a family of seven kids, by the way, but I never did get used to the crying.
