I know this is non topic..but i need to vent and need advice from the good bros in here. I just found out i have genital warts. Anyone else have this shit? How bad is it?

I had it years ago back in the 80's in my 20's. Caught it from fuckin around too much without protection. Go to the doc and he will most likely freeze them off. Kind of painfull and might take a few times to get them gone but it works. Wear protection because you don't want to be giving them to anyone else. Best bet it to get them removed before messing around with anyone anyhow. You don't want your partner seeing them if you can help it. Unless she's the one who gave them to you in the first place.

Damn, get out of here with that talk...

You probably will die... Forget about having sex for the rest of your life. No woman is going to touch that!

Wow, some of the threads on here!!! Anywayz, HPV= Human Papalove Virus affects something like 4 out of 6 Americans or something like that, Don't quote me but I know for a fact that its a very high average. It is for SURE the absolute most common STD. Alot of people don't know this. The thing is that for "Most" men It lies Dormant and no physical "Warts" will ever appear. But Trust me "You absolutly Will Spread These Things" and then you girl will be walking aroung with a snatch thats made up of the BRAIL Alphabet, So "Wear Protection" And also from now on Post this shit in the health boards or maybe even Elite BTS "Not the Steroid Forum" Good Luck, Drols

Think of them as little speed bumps... lol :)

My brother had this. It is contagous (of course), so protect your women by wearing a condom always. The warts can also spread to the anal region. The doctors can freeze the warts off / and give you medicated creams. Its a virus so it will always be in your body, even if you don't have symptoms. Some strains of HPV cause genital warts. Literature states that 10 of the 30 identified genital warts/ HPV types can lead, in rare cases, to development of cervial cancer. So it is imperitive that your woman geta a pap smear regularly/ at least annually. There are some forums that you can discuss treatment/ issues with people that have it too. Sorrry to hear that, wishing you the best. Sarita.

estimates of HPV infection run as high as 80%
estimates of HSV infection are similar

these viruses are highly prevalent, though many never present with symptoms, attribute them to something else or just are oblivious.

You are in the wrong place for this post I hope you diagnosis is not wrong and you have contracted Herpes and just think its warts!! If so you gotem' 4 Life

pretty much most people have them and don't know. They do have a vaccine coming out in the future to prevent passing it to others. You are fine I know plenty of people with it. Go to planned parenthood if you dont want to go to your doctor and get fixed.

dude fuck you ninesec you dickhead. To all others. looks for the comments and advice, i needed some real life situation . thats why i posted. if i knew how to throw out k(or even if i can) i would.

yup. Condom wont help much (if at all) for HPV folks.

Genital warts are caused by certain types of human papillomavirus (HPV). The "low-risk" types of HPV that cause genital warts (such as HPV Types 6 and 11) are different from the “high-risk” types of HPV (such as Types 16 and 18) that can cause cervical cancer. They're also different from the other types of HPV that cause the common warts that can be found on other body parts like the hands and feet.

Who can get genital warts?

Anyone who has any kind of sexual activity that includes genital contact with an infected person can get genital HPV. Approximately 2 out of 3 people who have genital contact with a person infected with genital warts will develop them. They may appear within weeks, months, or not at all.
