The other day I saw this show "I Survived" on the BIO channel. The show is a real-life series that features people who have overcome extreme situations -- the first episode I think it was, featured a young girl who had been raped and then shot three times. She STILL had the strength to get to the emergency room. Now when I saw that? I was shocked at the amount of will that it might have taken her to get up and succeed. I can' wait for the next episode. There many more stories to be told. I saw how anyone can become a victim at any given moment in time, without any warning. You just let your guard down for a couple of minutes and terrible things can happen. After seeing the show I am now more careful of my surroundings. Especially in empty parking structures and any place with limited visibility. I felt so inspired by the show, that I am currently working with BIO to get the word out to all those who might need some type of inspiration to help them out. I know it helped me out, hopefully it touches someone else as well. It airs Mondays @ 9PM. Check out http://www.bio.tv if you want to see a preview of the show. You'll like it.
