I survived Rock Fest!!

4 Days filled with Rock Music, Too Much Alcohol, and 60,000 people out to Party in the hot sun.... It was Great!

Sammy Hagar, even though I have seen him 4 times before, put on a Awesome Show!! And Lynard Skynard was incredible as well....but out of the 30 bands that played they topped it off!!

I think I am going to need the next 3 days to recooperate!!

Night Ranger, Twisted Sister, Alice Cooper, WAR, Def Leppard on Friday

Firehouse, Loverboy, Grand Funk, Sammy, and Lynard Skynard on Saturday

Eddie Money, Rick Springfield, .38 Special Heart, Boston on Sunday.

Plus a ton of Local bands from the Cities and Madison between intermission of the "Big Name" bands.

With all of those bands on one ticket, that must have cost like... $10 a day to get into.

I would imagine the Big Hair, wifebeaters, and cut off jeans must have been raging in full effect at that thing.

He makes it up to Rock Fest every year...

He always puts on a good show...probably because he is a pretty hyper guy...

And what can I say...I am older than dirt.

Actually OzzFest went on in the Cities as well, and I had won tickets to go....But it was rumored that Ozzy was going to cancel, so decided not to go...Plus everything up there is twice as expensive...

Haha...Nathan No hot pants...But their was this Big guy behind us, that I hope was on something, wearing Hot Pink and Black Zuba's, a Black Leather Harley Vest, and a Neon Green "Dew Rag" and playing an Inflatable Hot pink Air Guitar, like it was real.....All Day. He was even handing out Autographs.... What a SuperStar...

Hey Toga..Sounds like a fun show....I have seen most those bands live and old or not Sammy puts on a great show and is a very cool individual. How was the new Whitesnake line up? Suppose to be back in a bluesier kinda way. I plan on seeing Boston august 2nd here in LA. Good luck in your recoupin.
