I really don't like rednecks

I have been working at a convenient store for about 2 months now. (I have a shit job but i'm only 17.....) I can't help but notice all the redneck dumbasses that come in there. Here are a number of things that bug me about them.

1. Some of them NEVER wear shirts. Do they think they are sexy? You are not sexy, you are fucking 40 lbs overweight you stupid ass!

2. They don't seem to notice that cigarette prices go up about a dollar a carton every month.

3. They ALWAYS play the lottery and NEVER win.

4. They are homophobic.

5. They are envious of me and my job even though I only make 5 an hour. (In about a year i'll be an investor..making at least 15 times as much as they do)

6. Some of them NEVER wear shoes. I don't get this. They are going to get hook worm or something.

7. They always talk out of one side of their mouth and have deep voices from years of nicotine.

8. They do not know how to properly brush their teeth. This is insane, some of these idiots are missing every other tooth.

9. They are losers and proud of it.

That is all I can think of for now. I think i've made it clear that I do not like rednecks.

You must not of stayed in Houston or Austin very long because they are NOT country at all. Where exactly did you grow up in the South? cause you sure as hell don't know what your talking about. And how come "Texas ain't shit" What does LA have that we don't, besides double the cost of EVERYTHING. I know people who grew up in Texas and moved to LA, and they hated it for several reasons.

1. 2$ a gallon for gas, paying rent takes up 3/4 of your paycheck.

2. The girls won't date you unless you are 40 yearls old and have lots of cash.

Both of my friends who moved to LA are now back in Austin and have nothing but negative things to say about it.

What part of Houston did you go to?? Nothing there?? what do you need?? need a beach?? we have the largest and one of the most popular beaches right down the road--heard of South Padre?? Houston is the 4th biggest city in the Nation and to say that there is "nothing there" is pretty ignorant.

Also, I heard that more people in California speak spanish rather than English. Sounds like LA is as American as apple pie.

As for Houston and Austin being country, I grew up in Houston and that is definately not the case. The only people I know that talk country are from small towns. I've never worn a cowboy hat in my entire life and very few people I know have either. Austin is the high-tech capital of the world, maybe thats why people are flocking to live here, on their horses.

by the way, this was not a flame, just setting the record straight. I've never been to LA, I'm just believing the horror stories that I've heard from friends and relatives.

Kak I used to live in the Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky tri state area and there were plenty of rednecks. I lived in Evansville, a town of about 145,000 in Southern Indiana. We had rednecks but far fewer than Kentucky. Once you cross the bridge to Kentucky you see so much more red. Its crazy. Of course, people were much friendlier in Kentucky for some reason. That is the same way here in Florida.

There are alot of little things i've noticed about the south. It seems people here have a warmer heart. Another thing, I notice that like a friend or family memeber will offer you a sip of their drink like its no big deal or like they don't know germs exist. I thought that was very odd. I know it sounds stupid but its little tings like that that I have noticed. Also, even though mexicans are hard to understand if you know little spanish....they all seem very helpful and friendly. It seems like all people of spanish decent are generally less hostile and more laid back than most others.
