i really cant go anywhere

all i hear is "your going to send her when the pitcher has the ball...." im at my 8 year olds softball game, and helping out coaching first base...one of the girls hits the ball and gets to first, they are trying to stop her from going to second and over throw the ball to the pitcher, so i send her on to second base....now for a minute i dont even realize this putz is yelling at me, until their head coach is looking at me and says " your a real piece of work"...

i try to let it go, and ignore the ahole...it was the last inning and she actually ended up being the tying run...so now we are getting ready to leave and i see the 3 coaches fom the other team bobbing heads and staring at me...

so i casually walk over and explain " if i really upset you by sending the kid on when the pitcher didnt have the ball i apologize, but its a kids game so relax"...now the prick continues and my adrenaline is climbing...and now all three are running their holes...so i explain as calmly as i can "that now my adrenaline is thru the roof and i came to apologize if i upset you, but if we need to resolve this differently i'll be happy to its a frickin kids game drop it"...then they start how our parents were yelling at their kids and telling the ump what to call, which i can honestly say they were not...this team has been together for three years and we never had this issue. so i pick up the equipment bag and start walking away...

now im getting into my car and leaving and these MF's are still carrying on with each other...holy crap! can this really be going on...fortunately my wife who is a bigger ball buster than im am just gives a great big smile and waive to them as we pull off.

i really cant believe at this level any of this nonsense even took place...i'll probably be banned from future games, but i really kept my cool, because i have a real tendency to make an ass of myself...

im not even normally the coach, just one of the few parents who actually goes to the games and practices,not just drops off his kids...and when i confronted them, and again expressed it was a friggin kids game you need to relax...they backed off and where stating " no its fine were ok, no problem" but again i see the MF's bobbing and weaving their heads as we pull off...
