Holy shit, winters are cold here but usually the sun is always shining. I can't remember the last time I saw the sun.

I could snap if it doesn't shine soon!

I hear ya dude. There's not been a whole lot of sun here lately and I'm about to go postal. No sun + gram of test + dbol =

I had to close the blinds in my office this morning, because I couldn't see my computer screen for the sunlight.

Wait, that doesn't help, does it?

my bad.......;)

Whats with all the Canadians complaining about cold weather all the time. Just do what many of us have done. MOVE SOUTH. At least you can complain then when its too hot in January and your air conditionner is not working. :)

I'd live year round in the Arctic before I'd live in the U.S. of A.

Not complaining by the way, it was 63 degrees here yesterday :)

I do not live in the US year round. I often go there during the winter for a few months. I come back to Canada in the summer, sometimes hollidays and also travel to Greece for a few months as well.

Sometimes I miss the clouds...

It's 3F outside. (-16C) with a wind chill of -8 (-22C). I need to move. Anyone in a warm climate mind housing me until I find a new job there. :)

is it always clear skys there or what man?
also how are things going for you?

I got here in July and didn't see a single shade of a cloud till mid October. We have actually had a little rain here and there since then.

There are still people swimming in the Sea.

Doing well...just spent a week in Hungary, glad to be back home.

I need some sun as well. I'm going to Cali at the end of the month and hitting up the Bahamas either at the end of feb or beginning of march.

BTW, the high for today is 0 F. Low of -15 F without windchill.

People who choose to live in Canada are the same as people who choose to live in a desert. Always complaining about the weather, the poor conditions etc etc

Move already. There are cold parts of the US as well (see Alaska) just the vast majority of us are bright enough not to live there

AGREE. Why the hell do people complain all the time is beyond me. Another thing that I dont get is how all Canadians critisize Americans and say things that they would never move to the US no matter what. Well, I live half the year in SoBe and I can tell you 100% that the life in SoBe is 10 times better than it is in Canada. People are also friendlier and more outgoing. Too many people get too depressed in Canada in the winter.

Its fun to complain about the weather, makes you feel alive. I don't know any depressed people so that is a real bad generalization.

Do like my dad does in the dead of winter, snowstorm raging outside the window in the way-up-nort-of-MN --- get a beer, turn on the golf game & fall asleep.

People in cold weather do get more depressed than people in warmer climates. It has been documented. It is called Seasonal affected dissorder. There are also far more suicides in Canada compared to warmer climates. Canadians are so much friendlier in the summer, but in the winter lots of them are down and not as outgoing. There is nothing to do in the winter unless you are into winter sports. Most Canadians stay indoors 90% of the time because its too damn cold to do anything.

SAD is not depression, but has similar symptons and it is real. I get tired and have less energy in the winter months. I fight that my being active and Indoor tanning helps and so does vitamin D.

P.S. I am always fucking happy :kaioken:: ok ;)

Far more? Canada has about 14 suicides per 100000 and the US has 12. Not much difference.

I said canada compared to warmer climates. Not the US. The US is not considered a warm place. The only 3 warm year round places in the US are socal, florida and hawaii. Some places in the US are just as cold in canada and some are much colder compared to BC.

A few examples of countries that have around the same or higher suicide rates than Canada and the US:

Australia
Belize
Cuba
Guyana
Trinidad
Suriname
Uruguay
Sri Lanka
India

That was with just a quick check.......
