I NEED HELP! Pictures....

I scanned some pictures in at school today and i couldn't save them as Jpeg or Gif so my friend told me to save it as tif.
Now I can't figure out how to open them.....is there any way to open them???

tif is another way of saving them - much like the others - but it doesn't always show on the web (it has an extra channel - an alpha layer that you don't really need to know about).
you need to convert them to jpeg or gif if you want it seen on the web... or png.
photoshop or paint shop pro can do that.

convert tehm or download something like acdsee and it will open them and convert them to make them smaller for you... i'll help you if you need it.

Download a program called Vueprint, it converts all pictures to anything you want. Photoshop does this as well.

Also to look at them if you don't have an image viewer on your computer open them with internet explorer. File/Open

That's what I was going to say, since most people don't have PhotoShop.

ACDSEE is a great image viewer. The best I've ever used. I haven't used any others since I started using it years ago.
