topic for a debate,preferable law related that has two compelling arguements for both sides.

my group was doing euthanasia(sp) but the arguement against isnt fact based its relgious based which is crap for this debate.so Ive been given the responsibility of finding a new one

so please post up some ideas and hopefully one will work out for me

If you cant reason a strong secular argument against euthenasia then you either havent given it any serious thought, or are blinded by your own opinion, which somewhat defeats trhe exercise.

the instructor outlined that it must be a factual arguement not someones beliefs,which are the reasons against it.

I was fine making it a good arguement,but my group is being fuck heads about the whole situation

There are significant competency issues, as well as the more inherent slippery slope life arguments.

I just need a topic that has two factual sides to it,thats controversial and preferable related to the law.

the problem we had with euthanasia is that argueing against is mainly based on religious beliefs,though there is some facts.

my group just doesnt want to put any real effort into anything so they are taking the easy way out
