Yup I think Manchester has several million people in it. The huge tracts of land is countryside, in this case an area known as Cheshire, probably one of, if not the poshest area in the country.

Full of little towns, villages and conurbations, also there are saveral bits that are just there, I assume they are owned by the local council.
