I love being an ectomorph

It doesnt matter What Kind of test I take, how much sodium I consume I just dont get that bloated look that many people get. I stay lean all the time. No need for extra supplements to keep me lean and I dont need to do any cutting cycles. Im always lean. ha

Yeah and you will probably allways be lean with the same amount of muscle mass you have now HAHAHAA, And I will be putting on lean mass at a stable rate and do this thing called diet to lose any fat and be as lean with twice the mass as you HAHAHAHA:p :D

hahahaa, yeah, i am an ecto in its purest form. ive pretty much had a six pack since the day i was born. but putting on weight is a bitch, but it can be done. i am going to be starting a 4 week cycle of humalog soon and that has me a little worried that i might put on some fat, but even if i do im sure i could probably lose it all in 2 weeks max.
 
Hey JackDiesel, I share you joy.

I can eat 10 meals a day, each one filled with oily juices. Hell, I can drink 10 pints of creamy, full fat milk and still not put an ounce of fat to my frame. Every time I do a cycle my only concern is too add muscle and not worry about putting on fat. No need to diet to loose fat, the body keeps it away.

But, a super fast metabolism has its disadvantages. Research has shown that those with a fast metabolism tend to die a lot earlier.

Unfortunately I won't share joy with you but I feel my mostly ecto-body type sucks for lifting. I have great discipline and can keep my mind on the "bigger" picture all day long, but it is a long hard road to even look thick/solid/swole whatever you wanna call it.

Long thin limbs are more suited to endurance and thick short limbs are more suited for power/strength but that is in general ofcourse.
 
Here's a newbie question worthy of a flame or two:

I am familiar with the characteristics of the ectomorph body type. I, on the other hand, have the thick, short body type. Build muscle like crazy, hard to lose fat, and ALWAYS have to watch the sodium.

Can someone tell me the name of my body type???

You would be an endomorph. Short and stocky. Most people shoot for the mesomorph look which is thick muscle mass and little fat, yet they are not shredded like ectos.

I drink whole vitamin D fortified milk every day. At least a half gallon a day. Sometimes if I want to flaunt I take a quart of Heavy Cream with me to the Gym and chug that Focker right there at the treadmill.J/K. Anyhow there nothing wrong with being ecto, meso or endo. Im just glad I can save the money on winnies and hydroxycuts. And I dont have to hit the treadmill if I dont want to, but this is not adviseable.

Anywhooo. heres to all the Ectomorphs who share in my happiness. :beer:
 
When I first started to workout I wished I was an ectomorph.Then when I gained more size and strength them those guys I was happy when they watched me squat 315 X 20 reps as they hit the leg extenions for burnup reps.
 
I definitely Envy how endos and mesos can put on mass so easily, But with the proper cycling and hard work in the gym I can easily surpass any meso who isnt juicing and look a hell of alot leaner without the perfect diet. Its really cost effective for me and I would rather look like Frank Zane than King Kamali

Let me rephrase that for you..

With hard work THEN cycling.
Hard work is always first.

And probably yes with enough juice will look better then a natural mesomorph. ( but that will cost ya more more money)
so whats the logic that meso+endos will spend more money.

Stop trying to convince yourself that because you cant gain size that being thin and cut is better. ;)
 
Hey JackD, king kamali is one of the most laughable pros in the sport, when he worked out at my gym with bob Chick, he has probably 18 inch arms, he was a joke, claimed he weighed 292, I say he weighed 242, he short got small arms and was just a joke, and one of my friends who is a movie star and respected
ex-bodybuilder agreed with me 100%, king kamali may look good on the stage but in person he is a weasel compared to the other pros!

1 - Im Far from thin MoHawk. Im just not bloated. I have muscle mass that isnt hidden under an inch of fat. I am in no way saying that I am better than you because Im an ecto. Im just sayind that I love not having to diet, do cardio for 5 hours a day or down pill after pill of ephedra to lean out. I just gain muscle. I love it. I can eat a Marinated sirloin cheeseburger with sauteed mushrooms, peppers, onions and a three pound bag of salt without worrying about bloat.

2 - Oh yeah, King Kamali is a joke thats why I used him as an example.

3 - Hard work and cycling is what I meant to say.

I think thats it.
