I KNOW why Ronnie Always wins.

His mid section isn't disgusting (like many of them) and he's black, making his muscles and defination better. Plus his legs looks propotionate. Jay cutlers abs are horrid, and Gunter isnt big enough for his height..discuss...

hard to Prove but the proof is in the pudding

look at Dorian yates during the last two years of his Career, he was awsome before 95' but should not have won after that.

Same with Arnold at the 80' Olympia......

...but ronnie had to work his way up. his first olympia he placed dead last or at least near it. and i know that when i look at him he is 10 times more freakish and impressive looking than the other guys aside from maybe dexter jackson, who doesnt have the size but probably the best overall physique. i think ronnie and dexter are the best 2 out there. and i agree with the black thing. christ cutler puts on so much tanning spray that he looks like a big clump of diarreah.
 
a lot of black bbers put on tanning spray, so i dont think its that, i think its the fact that hes JUST THAT DAMN GOOD. and like the OP said, his midsection is proportionate to his body and his legs are proportionate to his upper body. apart from his tris i cant see anything wrong with ronnie, but even his tris are not underworked, they're just not great genetically, which is fine, no one is perfect. theres only 2 men that i think could come close to competing with ronnie and thats flex (maybe) and my fav. levrone( best physique even IMO).
But honestly guys, lets stop trying to come up with all these guesses on why ronnie wins. THERE ARE TOO MANY. but when you get to the bottom of it, its just that hes that damn good. period, theres no one right now that compares to him.

exactly. hes the best and ive not seen one bber with a better physique right now, though id have to say arnold was my fav.

um..all of those bbr's abs look disgusting, esp. ronnie. he's so wide that they don't give that gh impression as much as the others do.
 
I dont believe its a weirder contract. Ive met ronnie in person the guy is unbelievable, even on stage you can clearly see he dominates everyone in every single pose. He brings mass, proportion and conditioning to the stage. His genetics far surpass anyone on this god green earth.

Only reason why ronnie keeps winning is because he is not human :). So what, he has a gut, everybody has a flaw a weak point if you will. His is the midsection. I'd advise you to watch this years olympia again and you will definately see why ronnie keeps on winning.

Agreed Jay has wicked calves dor sure, and Ronnies mid section, IS the best,(compared to his CLOSE competitors)

I have to agree with you, I was very much involved with Ronnie's tour to South Africa last year and I have never in life witnessed something like him or anyone that can eat as much and trains with that kind of intencity, he might not have the best mid section and Jay might have him calve wise but I to this day have never seen a back double bi like his and don't get me started on his quads!!!!

first of all , his midsection IS disgusting, the mother fucker looks pregnant when he relaxes his gut, it's fucking GROSS !!

second, jay cutler is WAY better in that regard, cutler is almost flawless...
gunter beats ronnie at other shows so you have no idea what you are saying.
the only reason why ronnie wins at the MR O is because weider says he will win. it is all politics. it is all decided before any of them ever set foot on stage.
in a real competition, gunter has beaten ronnie,

wow, another sheep with the wool over his eyes. first of all, flex is nowhere near competition level anymore,and never will be again, second , levrone is nowhere near competition level either, and probably never will be again.
and ronnie is NOT proportionate, look at his fucking gut !! jay came in way above ronnie this year, politics is what kept him out of it..
how come jay wins all the other competitions that weider DOESNT own ???

weider has made it very clear that any bb'er who competes in the arnold will NOT take the O... why do you think cutler bowed out of the arnold this year ??

I was under the impression that since 2004 the only competition Ronnie does is the Olympia. Anyways Cutler shouldn't even be 2nd place. Ronnie destroys him in size and conditioning every year. The only guy I think that may have a shot is Dexter if they would judge bases on an aesthetic look.

no way did ronnie DESTROY jay, ronnie is bigger, but not better.
jay has way better proportioning than he ever has before and his quads are back on top again..
why does ronnie only do the olympia ?? because weider told him to !! he doesnt want to get beat again at a REAL competition by gunter hahahahah

Weider is dying and basically no longer controls the IFBB or The O. It's all about the AMI now. They even wouldn't let Joe say his full speach he had prepared and this was probably going to be the very last Olympia he will ever be seen at.

Not only that but Coleman is no longer with Weider nutrition. He signed with BSN.

I think the problem is not any big x-files conspiracy theory. It's the judges. A lot of them have no idea what it takes for these guys to be up there and look that way. Sure some are retired pro's, but the majority aren't. Then some of them pull that bullshit "been there, done that." In other words, I already saw Dennis, Gunter, etc.. I'll just give them a real quick look over and put them pretty close to where I thought I would before I ever even laid eyes on them. Then there's the ever changing rules and if they will be followed or not. These rules have plagued women's fitness, figure and bodybuilding, and also do effect men's bbing. When to follow them? When not to? Should we mark this guy down for this, but let that other guy slide for that?

Then you just have Ronnie. He outmasses all of them, and we are still very much in the freak era. Sadly this isn't what we all want, but you'd be surprised how many pooftahs (remember victorian guy? LOL gotta love those old posts) who never even seen the inside of a gym show up at these things. They cheer for the freaks and want them to win. It's a cult thing now, sadly.

It would be so much better for magazine sales to have a Dexter or a Wheeler (when he was healthy and able to compete) on the cover. Look at Roland Kickenger. He was like a modern Arnold back in the mid 90's. Never did well at all. He could have helped make the sport mainstream again. It's a closet sport where the freaks rule, and AMI will never change the formula now that it laid out so much money for it's ugly red headed step child. It will only milk the IFBB for anything it has left in it to get, and then leave it for dead once and for all. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Joe Weider will seem like a saint compared to AMI.

That may be true about him competing but I really cant agree with the Cutler thing. Cutler looked great and came def closer than ever but he still didnt have him. Jay may have looked a little bit better in the ab department, but his shoulders looked like he may have gone overboard with the synthol when he was in some poses. His back was wider but the thickness of Ronnie's back is insane. HIs traps are bigger and if it was ever close, when they look at glutes and hamstrings Ronnie cleans up. I hope Jay doesnt take it too far because he is starting to look pregnant too.

yeah, jay should lay off the gh too, but the only place ronnie was "far' better was the glutes/hams like you said... jay had him everywhere else

i watch it over and over again, have it saved on my computer, funny how during the challenge rounds, ronnie always stands with his back to the audience unless he HAS to turn around, cause he cant keep his pregnant ass gut held in that long. there are shots of him walking across the stage and his belly is seriously way the fuck out in front of him. ronnie does not own all, he only beat jay in a few of the poses, and jay beat him in several.
overall jay is a better figurehead for the sport, has a better body, sheer mass does not make ronnie more aesthetically pleasing, it just makes him bigger
 
Ronnie wins because he deserves it.......NO ONE even comes close. If you think otherwise you live under a rock.

Gustavo IMO should be the next Mr.Olympia......He gives Ronnine and run for his money, but falls short in the back/Hams dept.
 
I know Ronnie deserves the win because of his back thickness and , and legs, but Jay is someone who could make bodybuilding more mainstream again. I thought he should of won this year for the first time.

Thats exactly how I feel Gustavo should've taken 2nd Jay 3rd Big country has them all beat he'll be No1 until he calls it quits.If you look at the callouts they(the judges)did'nt give Badell a chance to go at Big Ron,therefore IMHO keeping him below Jay as we all know Cutler's a big name. :p

Big ripped mass is easier for the judges. When they do for aesthetics the crowd starts booing! BBing is filled with big freaks because its easier to judge and thats what people want to see.

It does harm BBing because the physique that people want isn't the one that BBers have. More and more often other athletes advertise supplements because they look healthier and are less obviously on drugs.

I'd rather look like Jackson than Coleman but Colemna should be Mr O everytime. I don't quite get this Jackson bandwagon, there's always some little guy who gets an aesthetic rep and is guaranteed second for a decade and whinges he cant win when he's small, even though being small is what gets him second.
