i never tried u-turn but i have tried pro42 which is a really good protein bar but expensive.

I got Joyride bars and they're pretty good. Payed $20 for a box of 12.

how are they compared to the detour, u-turn bars, one-way?

I think those things are great...not exactly a candy bar, but certainly alot better than the Pro-Complex bars I used to eat.

These are made with WPC, WPI, and hydrolozed whey protein. no hydrolized collagen.

They are the chocolate caramel ones with 30g of protein each and they're good!

Also yes the digestive system takes generally 18-24 hours to take food in from one end and expel it out the other.
