I live in Canada...but no beard...never a toque...and I don't even zip up my winter jacket unless it's at least -15C

I can't believe how much house I could get in Florida... for some reason houses in Florida appear in our local UK newspapers.. for the same price as my very tiny 2 bedroom bungalow I could get a big 3/4 bed house with a swimming pool in Florida... I was amazed... is there no jobs there?

Plenty to jobs, just lower payscales than many areas averages..
Hence the lower cost of living, unless you live in a hoity toidy area.
