I going to commit a no-no.

I am getting ready to start my bulk cycle in January. Problem is, I need to be in top shape come May 12. Thus if I bulk for 12 weeks, that puts me into March, after which I will need to cut. I dont want to try to cut natually, especially right after comming off cycle. So I have a problem: I can either run one really long cycle from Jan-May, I can run 2 cycles with very little recovery time in between them, or (what I am leaning towards) run the bulk cycle until March 12th, run a bridge of something like test cyp 200mg/wk for 3 weeks and then have 6 weeks to run a cutting cycle.

What do you think?
 
My last few cycles I have gone right from bulking into cutting, and its worked great

And you stayed on the whole time? I am just asking because I have never stayed on for 5 months at a time. Do you think I would be better off to forget the bridge and just bulk and then start cutting in the middle of March? If so that would help because I would have more time to get everything set right.
 
I would just stay on, my last one was over 7 months. I just made sure I used hcg all the way through, and everything worked out fine, I even got my wife pregnant in the middle of the cycle, and got my hpta back right after the cycle was done

Recover just fine, but have never gone longer than 12 weeks on high doses, well for me anyways. That was my main concern. I will be at about 1.2g/week total. I have taken dbol much longer with no problems, but that is not really the same.
 
test for a bridge is plane fucking stupid hcg would be a better choice but just run the bulking into the cutting should be fine just don't use any test in the cutting cycle and you should be good
 
hcg keeps your hpta from shutting down completely during the long cycle, so when you start pct much easier to recover then if you just left everything shut down for all those months
 
I run hcg at 500iu 2x weekly all the way through the cycle. It obviously kept me from shutting down as after being on 2grams a week for 4 months I got my wife pregant
 
Thanks for all of the help guys. I think I will just go straight from bulking to cutting.

Needsize, do you think I need to take into consideration what drugs I would take when doing this? I was going to be running dbol/test e/EQ for bulking and Fina 100mg ed for the cutting. I have considered running some winstrol for the cutting phase, but I do get the joint discomfort (its not TOO bad) so I was going to leave it out and go with. T3 (prob constant at 50mcg/day), and then alternate 2 wks each of Clen and EYC stack. Thoughts?

How long is your cutting cycle going to be?
 
It was going to be for 6 wks, but now that I have decided against the bridge and am going to go straight from bulking to cutting I have up to 9 wks if needed. Most likely I will just do in the 6-8 range and then try and get stabilized and really be watching the sodium, water, etc. towards the end.

500iu 2x weekly for 7 months?
I thought there came a point where your body would stop reacting to the HCG and then to it's own LH. Is the lower dose the key? Just enough to keep the boys in good shape, but not necessarily enough to screw up your body's sensitivity?

2x a week isnt enough to cause desensitization, I think if yo used anymore it might though
 
It's not mentioned on this thread, but important to note that needsize gets his bloodwork results on a regular basis. Anybody who thinks the "I feel recovered, I got wood so I must be recovered" method is only fooling themselves.

Why do you not like Test on a bridge?
