in my studio. the clothes i wear aren't fit to be seen in public, but I was out of rubbing alcohol- something I use a LOT of.
we were also out of milk, so i took one of my sons to the local market and told him to run in and get milk, and all the rubbing alcohol they had.
he came back out with just milk and said they wouldn't sell him the alcohol.
??
so i went in, wearing my work clothes; paint covered pants, ripped thermal shirt, heavy canvas apron, workboots.
I asked to speak to the manager and asked why was my son just denied a purchase. He said, "we can't sell alcohol to minors".
I said, "it's rubbing alcohol". He said, "doesn't matter."
alrighty, mr overzealous law abiding citizen.
