well, sorta. I've been getting these letters from some company for years and it's been so long I hardly remember the original story. I used to to be a stock broker so I get a lot of financial related stuff that's all junk. As best I can recall the health provider of a company I used to work for (probably 8-10 years ago) either went out of business or stopping doing business in Georgia. About 7-8 years ago I started getting these letters. Apparently there was some sort of legal action and they decided to offer previous participants shares in a new company they were forming as a settlement. It was only 5 shares so I sent in the form to get my shares but really never thought about it again. So i'm talking to Moms and she mentions I got another letter. They go to her addy in Atlanta but i've been in Cali since 98. Anyho, it seems the company I got shares in merged with WellPoint Health Networks back in 2001. I'm now entitled to $1,196.59 for each share or $5982.95 total. It appears they've been trying to find me for 3 years. I think I just found a way to pay for next year's GH cycle and get Lasik.
