The best you can do is to accept it graciously, say that I'm sorry that I didn't get you anything, and fawn over the item...

Just be honest, sincere and gracious........all you can do.

If they are giving you something for the right reasons, your gratitude will be plenty in return.

If you pay them to do stuff then they should be showering you with gifts!

I have many employees and last night two of my favorites employees gave two nice pull-over fleece jackets. My favorite attire in the winter time!

They did this before I handed out Christmas bonuses. They are the two of the best employees I have and I gave them both $200 a piece for Christmas. The rest of them I haven't made up my mind yet. The others are people that call me and ask me when are they getting their bonuses Talk about tact!?!
