I did the right thing today

Two of my coworkers and my boss actually asked me to sabotoge a product for which I am lead QA, just to make one of the other managers look bad.

When my coworkers suggested it I was like, uhh, I don't feel comfortable with that. They said check with your boss. I checked with him and I said I wasn't really comfortable with it but if he wanted me to do it I would. He said go ahead.

Then as the deadline neared I felt worse and worse so I want to his office and said I just can't do it. He said that's fine, that's your decision to make. He agreed that things had gotten a little out of hand as far as the infighting and the pettiness.

So I reported the bugs timely and the product is going to be great. Fuck pettiness, my job is to get the best product possible out the door on time and that's what I'm doin'!

Seem like all the big companies that i work for, i notice that its not a team effort. But instead, its lets one up each other and be the star, kiss ass/brown nose to be noticed... For me i do the work, if you don't compensate me during review time, i'm outta there!!!!!!!!!

.And middle mgt really don't know what the heck they are doing...
