I am so sick of...

Coworkers who:

- Want to know if supplement XYZ will help them lose their gut

- Want to lose their gut, but don't want to change their diet

- Want to know if this new SuperDuperAb Machine will help them lose their gut

- Think that always taking the stairs is the only form of exercise they need

- Don't want to workout because they "don't want to get bulky, they just want to tone." Yes, this is a guy.

- Bought a Bowflex and "went on a diet", lost 14lbs, and is now a fitness guru

- Brag about how "You might be able to lift more, but I can run longer than you!"

I had to listen to some of this again this morning, as one of my coworkers asked me about l-carnitine. He's asked me about supplements, ab machines, all this other stuff, but doesn't want to workout and doesn't want to change his diet. Only now, there's Bowflex Guy offering him advice.

Un-freakin'-believeable.

this is why i stay out of people's conversations regarding anything having to do with diet, lifting, fitness, etc. i don't even correct people anymore when i hear them speaking falsities. i just go about my business. let them figure it out on their own...or not.

Ugh...I posted something similar to this a couple months ago about a co-worker, too. It drives me CRAZY!!! One of these days, I may lose it :(

lol, same here, people come up to me and ask:

- im on that no carb thing, do potatoes have carbs?

- oh they do, what about rice?

I also love when poeple do the atkins and get nothing but bad saturated fat, like hamburgers and cheese and stuff, then their blood pressure, and cholestoral are mad high

Lol.. I got asked for advice on how to "lose the tummy" about 2 weeks ago. After making some suggestions, I was then told (by the same person) "No, I'm not going to start working out". And the grand finale "Every day I sit down and eat one box of cookies". Well then honey, you don't want to lose the tummy do you?! Time wasters. Grr. lol

Do you have an imprint of a mushroom on your ass from being dickslapped?

yeah well the woman who sits next to me at work is on her 5th Atkins Diet. Yes this is the 5th time she is doing the NO CARB diet. Mind you, she is 5'3 and 250 lbs.

Does she deadlift?

LOL no.

she walks at a leisurely rate. but i still tell her to keep walking. is thats all she is gonna do then hell its better than sitting in front of the tv. i just refuse to talk to her about the diet thing.

oh yeah, when I worked at GNC a few years ago, some lard butt walked in and was asking questions, I asked them about their diet, and they said they had 2 bowls of ice cream right before they went to bed, I said, well theres your problem, she then looked at me with a face of astonishment and said "Well Im not going to change that, or work out, so whats gonna work?" i think I sold her some xenadrine, only for her to return it the next day because it made her crazy, she then picked up some stacker 2, which I told her it was stronger, she then returned it and got another damn thing like that

I also love when people are so fat they need to use one of those stupid scooters to get around in the grocery store or mall, or they have a handicap sticker, bitch you aint handicap, you just orca fatt

You mention a leisurely rate. So, you mean she waddles back and forth like a penguin?

I used to have this one fat ass women that would actually bitch and moan about not being able to lose weight WHILE eating a bag(an empty loaf of bread plastic bag) full of dounts.

She would aslo get winded walking from the parking lot to the building..a whopping 50 feet.

I was on lunch and over heard a guy talking about mark McGuire and creatine and androstenedione(they didn’t know what it was called) and some dude was going on about how he gained 26 pounds in 3 weeks on creatine. He was saying it made him brake out, mood change, gained “MAD”strength ect. I was trying not to laugh the whole time. Funny stuff. The guy is like 135 pounds lol

Dude, don't make fun of me, it was true. I even had a cat scan done to see why my migraines were so severe. They showed me the results and on one of my lobes was an embedded image that said TwinLabs.

Beotch!!!!

I don't mind talking about it, it's just that sometimes these people have me go to the trouble of writing up a workout or explaining a basic diet for them and then they don't do it. That's what I hate.
