JUICESEEKER

I just want to say it is a good book. Whether you like Bill or you hate him, he has written a good book and even if you think you know all there is to bodybuilding, you will still learn something new in this book.

I agree! He is ALWAYS a good read! He must have great editors or something. Just DON'T BELIEVE everything you read from him! I (IMHO) don't believe he totally honest about shiot he writes. It's almost like he has a hidden agenda or something??!! Anyway....he IS a good read!

Wife

My wife had two babies and is now down to 115 because of that book. Can't keep my hands off of her. . .

Agree

I also agree, I am glad to see no flames here as of yet.
I am a personal trainer, and although the book does not appeal to me that much in the sense of taking me to the next level. It is a wonderful tool and very inspirational material that WILL change someone's life.

It is hard to grasp sometimes, that the world we are in is scary b.c of the bullshit that people write about oids. Saying that I think that main stream fitness could use this book over and over!

Yeah I 've read the book myself and there was some pretty good info, but most o fthe shit in there is common sense and at least a couple of the big dawgs around this board know just as much shit as that guy.

IT's still pretty inspirational

It's not the best book on fitness out there, but it's pretty good. Let's face it, most books on working out are lacking, and don't even get people motivated. At least this one seems to have gotten some people interested in fitness. A lot of people hate Bill Phillips for being a 'sell out', I just think he is a very smart business man. He may bullshit a lot, but who doesn't in this industry anymore?

I don't care what anyone thinks but that book is what got me to take car of myself. It showed me the importance of DIET.

Its a Great motivational read for everyone.bodybuilders are so wrapped up with the newest fad diet and training system or supplement that they forgot the basics. This is what this book talk about.

I recomended it to everyone.

i'm not one of his biggest fans and I would never buy any of his products, but the principles provided are very straightforward and simple and will provide a good roadmap for those trying to get into shape for those just starting out.

F**K Bill Philips, he left me hangin a long time ago!

Bro, you don't know Bill.

I don't love him or hate him, but I do know that he is the only guy in the industry who ever offered to pay for my time on a spec project - and whenever I needed to get hold of him I could call his office at 2:00am on a Saturday night and always find him working at his desk.

He's a major huckster. He also worked his ass off and learned a lot of hard lessons to get where he is today. He wanted teh freedom that hundreds of millions of dollars brings and he did what he needed to do to get there. He helped a lot of people on the way. He screwed a lot of people too.

The bottom line, though, is he was willing to work harder than almost anyone I know.
