Hyperplasia

What is required to create/cause hyperplasia? Along witht he use of IGF or HGH both of which seem to allow/create hyperplasia, is muscle failure or workout required t have hyperplasia take place?
 
i'm pretty sure you have to do heavy work everyday so that your body is forced to compensate. there are reports that malnutritioned african males have large arms b/c they have to carry heavy buckets of water 10 miles to their village everyday and hyperplasia occured to make this easier and have less strain on the body. that's just what i read in some random article i found tho.

IGF-1 and other growth factors (note most steroids increase these anyways)

no, but it will tend to enhance those effects.

one need only look at the NEJM study (enathate 600mg/week- 20 weeks) with sedendary AAS users still gaining significant lean mass.

aisde from taking hgh or igf what promotes that actual hyperplasia taking place?

Abuse of surrounding muscle groups, or does it take no action no situation to promote hyperplasia other than having the hgh/igf?

do the westside workout id say to get hyperplasia man you need to really overwork your self look the africans walking 10miles with bucket sof water were being worked to the max TILL FAILURE lift till FAILURE EVERY FUCKIN SET and if ur on AAS and eating man you will reach hyperplasia i think i am reaching that shit becuz of all the lifting and boxing i do for real
 
So most likely HIGH rep, repetative type workouts to failure would cause hyperplasia?

Any sources, reports ont his topic that demonstrate that over basic mass building type workouts?

i have it in a text book, i believe its the NSCA book
 
It's a magical formula of high weights with high reps, and sometimes using X reps.

Watch Jay Cutler train and he does X reps. Pick a weight you can do 8 reps with. Fail at 8 or 9 reps, set it down. Count to 10, pick it back up and get as many reps as you can. Usually, I can do 3 or maybe 4 if I'm lucky.

Another method is strip sets or triple drops.
