Hyperextended my elbow?

Whenever I completely straighten out my arm, my elbow gets a sharp pain through it which really fucking hurts. It only happens when I straighten out my arm completely... I must have completed 100 sucessful throws yesterday in Judo, so this might have been why it hurts.

Any ideas what I did? Any ideas on how I can fix this up?

Thanks.

Oh, you're just asking for it, my advice spank it with the other arm.

Yea right!

Look at Paulos' avatar and maybe that will jar your memory.

Sounds like you just aggrevated a tendon/ligament.If you hyper-extended it,it would hurt non-stop,around the clock, and you would likely feel a 'pop'.

yeah, if you did something to hyperextend it you would probably remember what did it....

like huck finn said, probably a ligament/tendon. there are some that aren't especially strong enough for the muscle they attach to (tennis/golfers elbow--lateral and medial epicondicyle)

the repeated motion is also something that aggrevates these ligaments, 100 throws sounds like it would do it :) why dont you look at treatments for tennis elbow on the net. i;d go for R.I.C.E. short term after the injury, then tiger balm after on the area with maybe an anti-inflammatory (but to be honest theres not much point unless you plan on training on the injury)

it shouldnt take too long to heal :)
