Hype?--New Super Vitamin E Cuts Risk of Heart Disease

From Yahoo gossip...

A remarkable new "super vitamin E" boosts the immune system, reduces the risk of heart attacks, strokes and cancer -- and even slows aging, say experts.

Called "Isomer E," the once-a-day soft gel pill delivers the many health benefits of synthetic vitamin E -- but far more effectively, according to studies.

Yet it is relatively inexpensive, costing only about 50 cents a day.

"Isomer E is a real advance for anyone who wants to improve their health and reduce their risks of heart disease and cancer," Dr. Steven Lamm, a New York-based internist and anti-aging expert, told The ENQUIRER.

"Many recent studies have shown that vitamin E has numerous positive effects, including lowering cholesterol, and helping protect against atherosclerosis, heart attacks and strokes.

"Isomer E does all the things for the body that standard vitamin E does, only much better.

"I recommend it to all my patients and to everyone who wants to boost their health, energy and sense of well-being," said Dr. Lamm, author of the best-seller "Younger at Last."

Standard vitamin E protects against harmful cells in the body known as free radicals. They cause damage that can gradually lead to heart disease, cancer and other illnesses.

Isomer E, a combination of several types of E plus other protective antioxidants, does exactly the same thing -- but with much more impact.

It detoxifies free radicals about 15 times better than synthetic E and at least two times better than natural E, according to testing done in collaboration with the Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University.

"Isomer E is a truly effective product," declared Dr. Lamm. "It is very beneficial to good health, and there are no negative side effects.

"I think everyone should be taking it."

Abstract, double blind study? The ENQUIRER is good at breaking scandles but on the Supplement/Drug stories they have a horrible record.

Am a suppliment freak so ordered some for about $13 shipping included for 60 softgels.
Most sources have the same product (company) , don't want to put link, so this doesn't seem like an advertisement.
