Humans with guns vs. Lion

Testosterone boy said:
For a guy who has hunted, I hate like hell to see them get shot.

Makes me wonder. That was sad.

Yeah ... wtf are you going to do with a dead male lion?

Why kill that majestic creature? for a trophy? Ugh! I wish the lion would have eaten that scumbag.

hypocrites.

Makes me sick. Why anyone takes delight in slaughtering a beautiful creature is beyond my understanding.Very disheartening.

This is what starfish says about seals and several people give her hell about it, saying if the seal was ugly it wouldn't matter. Same with the lion.

I would never kill anything for fun, because killing isn't fun to me. Although, I will probably decapitate someone tomorrow night.

I would only kill what I would use for food or clothing if I knew how, I cant see them eating a lion or using its hide for anything so thats pointless to me

I don't disagree with Starfish. I think clubbing seals to make some stupid bitch a coat is unredeemingly evil.

I am a buddhist - killing anything - and I mean ANYTHING for any reason is not good for karma...

What's even more evil is the diamond trade. Read up on it. They are mined in Africa by child slaves who suffer horribly. Yet people still buy diamonds. I made a thread about this and nearly everyone said they would continue to buy diamonds even if the children died as a result. I was disappointed in my fellow man.

Buddhists are vegetarians, then?

most are - yes - but the dali lama has agreed that it's a lot easier to eat meat because one is not directly reponsible for killing the the animal for the food.

Poor shooters, using obviously an unappropriated load in a bolt-action for short range shooting..... lol

I would like to go back to being a vegetarian. Are you a vegetarian. Most that I know are thin but not very muscular. It is hard to get a high protein/low carb vegetarian meal. ;-)

With all them natural resources, it is only a matter of time before bushco finds you are part of the axis of evil.
ROFL...priceless.

The problem is getting complete proteins... - it's all about the food combinations if you choose to be a vegetarian..

I am not a vegatarian - seeing as the Dali Lama has given me the go ahead, and the fact the I have enough problems with trying to be buddhist (with being a selfish American and all) I eat meat. I love steak... :)

Something I learned recently from living in the country: When cows are babies, they are very playful. They prance around and want you to play with them. I was amazed and surprised to see this. Once they become fattened up, they become slugs I guess.

I'm here to educate and learn!

And also to fuck off. LOL

Sorry, but that was a true story. I was very surprised. The cattle industry sure doesn't want you to know that, they will lose some business.

You can get buckets of whey protein to get you all the protein you'll ever need. 2 scoops O.N. Whey Protein = 60 grams of protein. I havent eaten a steak in years, not because I'm vegatarian but to avoid the fat/cholesterol.

That nearly made me spit me cereal all over my computer screen.

I seen that video months ago on a web site. I would like to see it again except this time, the Lion takes a few of the hunters heads away with him. That Lion knew exactly who and what he was going for and he wasn't going to be deterred even with the hunters rifles. Too bad he was outnumbered. Anybody ever see the movie "The ghost and the Darkness?"
