Huge explosion in Baghdad

man I bet our guys are wanting to get the fuck out of there. I guess a few of them have complained about it because they didnt know they were going to be engaged in monkey warfare and Bush kicked them out of the army and took all there benefits. Just to make sure everyone else stays in line.

we should just kill everyone, even us, give everything back to the planet so it can heal itself and everything can start over again

this isnt going to sit well with the leftists. for them, it is one thing for american civlians, american soldiers, and israelis to be blown to pieces and murdered by islamic terrorists, but terrorists blowing up a UN building? that just goes too far in their eyes.

Again why are you guys there ? Don't you think its just time to close the shop and get the fuck outta there ?

Because we are in the process of giving Iraq back to the Iraqi people. If we just left and the country went to complete chaos (not like it isn't that way now) Bush would look like a complete idiot. Sure you got rid of Saddam only to make it a complete wasteland.

We can get by with doing that in Afganistan, but not Iraq.

Just think...my tax money is going to be used to fix their power grids

that's because iraq doesnt have the leftist environmentalists hell bent against us updating our power grids from the 1950's. shit, we havent even had a new nuclear power plant since 1979.

when is the last time a candle light vigil or some protest signs removed a dictator from power or stopped him from killing his own people?

and what are you talking about with afghanistan? we are making great progress over there.

Never. That isn't what I'm saying. What I'm saying is that leaving now as Manny suggested would bely all of Bush's prewar reasons for going there in the first place.

We are making great progress in Afghanistan? What are you talking about? Define progress. What exactly are we doing over there?

most of rural Afghanistan is now under control of Talibans or some warlord/tribal leader. Only Kaboul is under control of UN.

There is always a little bitch in every company in the Army, and no amount of PT will get them to shut their trap.

All the guys I know who are there and are about to go, are just fine with the conflict.
