looking to get on hrt...

Primary doctor tested my test levels and they were a whopping 99. He wanted to give me on-going shots "in office = fee", and I asked to see an endo. At that point I began self-medicating with 125mg week of test enanthate... and eod of hcg 250iu...

was feeling great and maintaining gains... several weeks later I saw the endo and he wanted to see why my levels were low (and so did I), so he tested my test level and prolactin (I was 6 days out on my shot at that time)... test came back at 868 total test and prolactin was high...

Now his nurse called me and told me to stay off everything for a couple of weeks and come back in for another test... If prolactin still high, they will want to do an mri of pituitary... This is all the nurse knows and the doctor is never in for questions I have...

So in the meantime I am supposed to just feel like $hit? After I go in this Friday to give blood for that test, I really want to start self-medicating again...

Does anyone see a problem with that? Do you think he will want to do anymore types of blood tests?

Personal choice.

If I could find a doc I could trust around here I may go that route. For now I'm self medicating. I have proof of low test levels so when I order test and if I were to get in trouble I'd fight it in court.

Can you get the pre tests....when your levels were 99...?

they are on file with both my primary and endo... I should be able to get a copy faxed to me from either source...

You wanting to get this paid by insurance? If not...then you can fax those tests to a number of HRT clinics and get started...

bro, that's more common than you think. I am seeing an endo fertility doctor right now, my prolactin levels came back atn 0, so of course he wants to do a MRI on my pituitary gland, which he did, and nothing was wrong. The prolactin was not present due to the cabaser I waas taking. But I couldn't tell him that in front of my girl. So, now hes' got me on clomid for 10n days at 100 mg ed., to see if it affects my fsh and lh levels.(which were nonexistant also.) I dropped just about everyting to play this doctor's little game, have been on only a small amt. of primo and eq to keep my size. no test though in 4 weeks. If you reallly want to get a real script for HRT, then don't start taking anything else until your next blood test for your test levels. Once they are confirmed to be low, you will probably be offered HRT. If you don't want to pay the prices of the pharmacy's gear, then get your own and selfmedicate, You'll save a ton of money.
