Today, bought new bras. I'm a 34A.

This would be all fine and dandy, if it weren't for the fact that I'm really muscular on the bottom and kind of need boobs for balance. My biceps are bigger than my boobs.

I havent gone bra shopping and there's a reason for that

I haven't worn an "A" since October 10th, 2002 at 9:15am...then on Oct. 10th, 2002 at 10:30am I magically wore a "C". Thank goodness you can shop for those too. BTW - great hammies and quads - goodstuff!

Yep - I think my chest will "magically change" in the enar future as well. It's on my definite "to do" list.

I went under the nipple... I went for silcon because the doctor said it would ripple on the side because my bf is to low.. I am very happy with mine... They look and feel more natural then salen (however you spell that)

mine are saline w/a below the nipple incision. They did show a little ripple at extremely low bodyfat, but I never worried about it much.

I thought about this since I was 16. Unfortunately... I have never been above a B. At the same time I never had to worry about them getting in the way golfing, running, or anything else. I think, however, I would be more apt to wear sexier tops if I were bustier. I'm still a bit nervous with the implant thing and the down the road side effects... Have any of you experienced anything abnormal, or bad? That's the only thing holding me back. I mean mine are small, and hardly there, but I would rather them be like that then to have some distorted chest if something malfunctions.

Opposite "problem" .... I was a 34/6C when I went off the BCP, now I am spilling out of my bras ..... Off BCP, I think I am a serious 34/6D! Yikes.

I think I would have the hardest time during the recovery period, not being able to workout would drive me nuts...

But I really don't know how long you have to wait etc...I'd have to do some convincing to get some jubblies

Ahh good post ladies! Let's see, at 21 and birthing an almost 10lb baby...laverne and shirley got up to a big nasty double H. And negatory...not a dayum thing sexy about that. ANYWAY....that's actually the gift I plan on surprising myself with if/WHEN i reach my fitness goals by May 1. (which i think i just might make) SO, questions: knowing summer is coming up...those of you who have had the job done, when do you think is the best time of year to do it? Wait until after bikini season? How long was the recovery period? How long was the bedrest before you were functionable again? <~~(just love creating my own vocab) And from you all's experience, what's the best place for incision?

I've been doing research and such but I'm a nervous wreck about it. I have seen SOOO many jobs that look HORRIBLE! If I'm droppin' 5-6k i want some purty boobers.

I can't speak for this area but that's about what I paid 5 yrs ago in Ft. Lauderdale. I did all my research on www.implantinfo.com. I located a couple candidate docs via that site and also researched their credentials & any liability claims they might have against them. I also did a consult w/ each & further made decisions based on what they said, discussion w/ a few of their patients who contacted me, and just how comfortable I was in general w/ these guys.

Recovery time -- depends on if you go above or below the muscle, or even through the armpit ("TUBA"). I went below the muscle and spent a good 30 days recovering. The first 2 days I felt like an elephant was sittign on me. I also stayed home for a week from work while the painkillers & stuff wore off. It was hard to drive for the first 3 weeks, primarily when I had to turn to look whiel backing up or changing lanes. Any torso rotation hurt. Then I would get occassional small shocks which is the nerves regenerating. Also even if you do the overs and have a quick recovery as far as pain, the doc will still tell you to stay out of the sun so the stitch area can heal. I was out on the beach in March & started training for a competition in April. Mostly it was about a month where I was careful.

For that reason, I'd just do it other than bikini time. You have to wear like a sports bra for a large part of the recovery and that, in my mind, isn't sexy w/ little summer tops and sweating in the heat.

WHen you gain weight, the first place it shows is on your behind and hips, but when you lose it the first palce to go bye bye is our boobs....

Wouldnt it be great if we gained weight on our boobs and lost it on our asses

Yeah my experience was similar to sassy.. I was in bed for about 5 days... But I don't really remember the first couple of days because the doctor had me on a ton of pills.. So I really don't remember the pain... But I was out of the gym for a month and they sit a little high until they settle so it would be best to do it out of bikini sesson... I got mine in March and was able to compete by middle May...
