And Jersey women killing themselves is a very bad thing. Jersey has got the most down to earth chciks i have ever met. I love the women up there. South florida is beautiful, and Broward is great. The chicks such though. Very hot, very snobby and stuck up. They are total bitches.

You go to Boca and Palm Beach for culture. The traffic flow is not all that bad. Just stay away from Oakland Park and Commercial where all the blind Jewish snowbirds drive.
The nightlife is not all that bad, just stay away from lame ass tourist traps like Beach Place, Elbow Room, or any place along A1A. If you are into the Nightlife-In-Your-Veins scene, you can always check out South Beach.

Matt you think south Florida has no culture? Dont you live in Jax? Try Delray next time, we have a real downtown, great restaurants, laid back people, a great area to live and work in.

Coral Springs? Maybe that is why you dont like s. Florida. Coral Springs kinda sucks 30+ minutes to the beach and nothing but strip shopping centers.
The cost of homes has skyrocketed and many people are migrating north, gainesville,ocala,orlando etc.... The homes in broward had the biggest appreciation in all of florida last year. For 130,000 you will get a small 1500 sq ft home with no yard and your neighbors will hear and see everything you do. Even in Silver Lakes in Pembroke Pines the $180,000 homes are right on top of each other and all the uptight home owner associations can be a problem. Since hurricane andrew in 92 all the people got out of dade county and the homestead area and moved up into broward and palm beach county. I am looking at homes in orlando now and for $130,000 I can get a 2000 + sq ft home with a screened pool and at least 1 acre of land. The homes are not stacked up on each other and the communities and very nice.I live in MIRAMAR now and the MIAMI migration is starting to take effect slowly. The builders have gone as far west as they can go to the everglades and the homes are selling like hot cakes. I would go farther north as I stated earlier because I can always go to miami to party on the weekends but where I choose to call home has to be quiet, safe and secure . just my opinion....
