long story short, i dont care much for my inlaws... in fact, i'd rather never see them... however i have not been rude to them, ever.... they also dont care much for me because i'm not a big family get together type person... i'm not quite what they had hoped is what i get out of it all....

anyway

at christmas everyone exchanged gifts, however my two sister in laws and their hubbys did not get me anything... i am not big into gifts at all so i didnt mind.. my wife was a little annoyed but i said it didnt matter..

well, tonight we went to the inlaws to celebrate my wife's and her grandmothers birthdays... one brother in law said hello, and eventually one sister in law asked me to do something for her.... but the other brother and sister in law said ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO ME... when i noticed they werent saying hi to me, i didnt bother either and just did my thing... i honestly hate being around them, i am very uncomfortable and this makes it worse...

right now, i dont really care but i think this might bug the shit out of me and make me hate going there even more....

ya, i agree it's a two way street... but now i'm not comfortable being around them... and the way i see it by snubbing me at xmas (they really did ignore me obviously that night) i'm at a loss as to what to do... i dunno, you really had to be there i guess... my wife noticed they were rude...

at xmas i said hi and one walked away without saying anything... and yes, they heard me say hi.

really, i'm hoping someone will say "dude, dont even go over there anymore" so i can say... "good point" and be "done" with it

let me tell you a secret......the only in law i get along with is my mom in law only because she has been in my "shoes" before.....she had kids young and knows how it feels to not have a adult to talk to all day...she comes by almost daily to chat and play with my kids( the youngest moslty cause he is 100 percent like his father)....my sister and i got close because we had no choice at a certain point in lfe we had to.....
my father in law hates me most likely..long story and i dont need to explain..back when i first started seeing hubby i was accepted by him....but things changed and I "became" the asshole of the family because i stood my fucking ground......Brother in law stood by and lied and tried to make me look like a lying fool when i was the one who was 110 percent truthful....
So now father in law says HI and such because he is respectful of the fact that i have his grandchildren..sister in law barely ever calls now we have grown apart...mother in law still comes over...brother in law doesnt say much..he goes to gym with hubby and hubby stops home here and the brother would rather sit out in car then to come in and see me....The way i see it is "fuck you i am better than that trash"............i dont need to be accepted by his family..i know the truth and i know what has went and gone and will most likey continue to go on......i dont need the bullshit stress of thinking about them and my relationships...atleast i have the fucking sense to stand up and say "fuck this i am done with the games"

i forgot to add... the sisters in law made the grandma some picture frame thing that said "grandkids".. on this picture were the three sisters... and TWO of their husbands... i was the only one missing... what the fuck is that? (though, i'm NOT her grandkid).
