very possible. bacteria gets more and more resistant to current antibiotics and it's definitely outpacing development. there are certain antibiotics that each time you take them, a little amount antibiotic seeps out of your pores via sweat thereby allowing the resident bacteria on you skin to become more resistant. kind of like the way that we use vaccines. vancomycin seems to be the final defense for now. scary stuff.
