how well would myoplex protein work while dieting

just out of curiousty. would this be a wise decision? lets say, only drinking four mypoplex protien packets a day for your daily intake of calories, protien and carbs and so on. it would keep your calories below 1000, protien up to about 200 and carbs below 100. combined with 30-45 mintutes of cardio 4 times a week. supplementing in multi-vitiamins, glutamine, amino acids and so on. would this provide u with good results? i know it may be broad question but your opinions are greatly valued.

Well, it seems like an opt-out idea for dieting, but it all depends on your weight. A 200lbs. male cannot live on 1000cal. and not be in starvation mode, it's just not possible. While, on the other hand, if you're a 90lbs. person then 1000 cal. would be about 100 cal below your BMR (BMR=weightx12).

If you are in a position of over 90lbs., then you will need at least 10 packets a day to sufficiently supplement your diet, and of course that can be VERY costly ($3 per pack x10=$30 daily, x 30 day/mo =>$900 a mo. on myoplex alone)

P.S. met-rx is better then myoplex

Just an update.

EAS have come out with a new Myoplex Deluxe with:

- no aspatame
- no hydrog. oils
- no corn syrup solids

A good improvement from the old version IMO.

It's not the PRODUCT, it's the taste, it tastes like shit IMO. I just went to the store and bought the "new and improved version." Then I tried it, as well as my workout buddy and my wife, all agreed that it tastes like shit. On the other hand, met-rx never fail the taste test.

met-rx blows, along with the rest of GNC's generic bullshit....
Pro-Lab MRP's now rule the industry.....

I love this....everyone has different tastes...can't argue w/ that...but have to say that met-rx rocks no matter what lol...:)
