Mine was funfuckingtastic
We actually threw a 4th of July BBQ here in Mexico, well it was a 4th of july/going away party for my brother (he went back to the US).
We bought fireworks from some place that sells them for town festivals. We bought 6 dozen of these huge, giant, lud as a mother fucker sky rockets that they usually shoot off church bell towers during town festivals, and are heard through out the entire town. We also bought 4 of these huge ass sky light show things, so massive tha they had to rent us these special tubes to shoot them off from. Also these huge things that were way more powerfull than m80`s, we were putting like a 6" radius, thick aluminum can over them and it was trearing the cans to shreads, sending the top of it hihg into the sky, cutting it into a perfect circle. It was awesome, however, the locals weren´t as thrilled by all this pyromania as we were, including our guests. They specially hate all the loud popping ones which is what we found the funnest.
We bought tons of meat, burgers, hotdogs beer and assorted liquors. We ate with the fam in the early evening and then all the young people showed up a little later. We made a bonfire and drank beer, periodically taking shots (tapitas), but here when one person takes a shot, every one takes a shot. Surprisingly, the chicks that were hanging with us could hold their liquor too, despite being petite and very femenine.
My brother´s plane took off aT 6:00 am, the airport is 2 hours away. At 3:30 AM we were still drinking, we finally left about 15 minutes to 4:00. I drove, drunk ass fuck, I almost fell asleep a few times. When we got to the aiport they were calling my brothers name over the intercom becasue the plane was about ot take off, he just made it.
The dude that we stayed with in Guadalajara went with me. We wanted to go to Zacatecas (a city) which is about 20 minutes from the airport, and fuck around all day. We crashed out for a couple of hours in the airport parking lot, then took off. When we got to the city all major roads were blocked because Vicente Fox (President of Mexico) was going to be there. We finally made our way throug hall the detours and got to go to a few museums. My favorite being the museum of masks. This Spanish conquistador collected masks from all the different regions of Mexico. There are over 10,000 masks in the collection, only 5,000 on display at one time becasue of space restrictions and because many are on loan to other museums around the world. The site itself is awesome. It´s inside an old nun convent built in the 1700´s, so the architecture alone is fuckoing aweomse.
Anyways, this dude has been partying with me so much, that I had to introduce him to roller coasters (montaña russa), it´s essential for the hangover, lack of sleep and continued drunkness that we´ve been carrying on. It consists of ephedrine to go up, to counter act the lack of sleep, then about an hour or so later a vicodin to come down and numb the pain of the hangover.
I got home yesterday at about 7;00 PM and slept ´til this morning. We´ll most likely drink again tonight, then tomorrow we´re heading out to some chicks cabin deep in the woods to drink and party.
Overall I am having a great time, I return to L.A. on Sunday and I´m a little glad because I canýt carry on like this for too long. I need to get back on my diet and probably won´t drink for a bit.
I hope this wasn´t too long for you guys to read and I hope you are all doing well.
Catch you all soon.
