How to raise insulin sensitivity?

other than taking the drugs they give to diabetics.....

there;s an artile stuck on supplements which talks about ALA and how it has a role in increasing a cells insulin sesitivity, but i havent seen lots of articles and others havent seen any in the big journals

i believe there are substances withing green tea which are supposed to help insulin sensitvity

in terms of substances that is pretty much all i can think of top of my head

Thanks Danielson. I've found this article by berardi here , and he says that "the low-carb, high-fat diets that have become popular can decrease insulin sensitivity."

It is an interesting read.

I will check it in the supplements board.

He provides no studies....actually healthy intake of fat can increase insulin sensitivity, so he's blanketing the whole idea w/ his super thoughts.

I would try ALA/chromium, mix the two and add daily ginger to the diet, you should be able to see some improvement.
