How To Get Into Canada???

wondering if i can just drive up to the border and get in with no problems, or what all i would need to get into canada for a few days just for fun, then get back into WA state.

If you are white and friendly, then a driver's license should suffice.

If you have any type of criminal record you have not cleared up and destroyed, then that will be a problem.

If you look sketchy, then bring a passport or several picture IDs.

In short, it should be a breeze most of the time.

white, never had a criminal record, and i dont think i look sketchy lol.....i just want to make sure i can get out as easy(if it is) to get in, and i dont want to drive 200 miles, and them tell me i need something else to get in.......no i wont be transprting anything, just going up for fun....thank you sir.

Nah, Canada Immigration are staffed by college students, and people making 6 bucks an hour. And they don't even have guns. So they're pretty damn lax and wimpy and really could care less.

Your main problem is coming back. US Immigration is a tough mother these days, and if you just show just a dl, they will grill you like no degree, making sure you're not a fugitive, or a canadian sneaking in, or a terrorist or what have you. To really piss you off, they'll might tell you to pull in, then get in line, then wait 30 mins to talk to an officer who'll do a bg check on you, and make sure you're really a citizen and are who you are.

Yet another example that it is the slanty-eyed nerd in High School that gets picked on, that goes into these Law Enforcemnt agency jobs. They vent on people with power they feel beneath their own. And they get away with it too. You run into one of these types that this bro is speaking of, and I guarantee you will bite a hole in your lip trying to keep from stomping his power-tripping ass into the ground. Now my experiences are quite different though. The only border I have ever crossed is the TJ/SY Border, and the guys there are/were always quite cordial. If you are cool with them, and don't get wriled by their assinine questions, then it stumps them, and they let you go. It's basically the Jedi-Mind-Trick, as it were. For example, I was bringing back some fine Cuban Cigars from TJ once, and told the guy at the Border that I was "bringing back these Cigars". He stopped me mid-sentence and said "WHAT KIND OF CIGARS"? Well my first reaction is that most guys who aren't Cigar efficionados probably wouldn't know the difference between a Macanudo, & McDonalds, so I look at this big dumb mook and says "Hell, I dunno". I think that stumped him because he was expecting me to flinch about the Cuban thing, although I doubt that is a serious offense anyhow, but still. He let me go.

Did you know that the government actually started a new method for capitol punishment.....either go to prison, or go to Canada and live.

Hence the reason why our prisons are so over populated.
