How to beat a Polygraph??

Imagine the correct response in your mind. Smell it, feel it, hear it, taste it, etc.
Be there and see yourself doing the correct response. When you have created the movie in your mind, answer while seeing it and only it.
If you can't imagine it, hold your breath before you answer. That's right; pause, answer, breath.

This is the technique that always works... sit alone and say out loud YES NO YES YES NO NO NO YES NO YES YES... keep saying the words slowly... calmly... and as soon as you say it forget what you just said. All polygraph tests are YES NO answers only. by repeating the words over and over you desensitize your body to the meaning and train yourself to not react to your response.

I read other people posts on this before, and I believe it was said that one way is to put a tack in your shoe to stab your toe. It will spike your natural stress levels so it will be hard to distinguish between that and a spike in your stress level from a lie. I'm sure someone can elaborate more.
However, what I was thinking about was practice having friends ask you questions along the lines of whatever you might have a concern about (AS/drug use?) and practice giving the incorrect answer. Just so you get comfortable with the questions and inturn giving a false answer. Of course throw in some questions that you would answer truthfully. Have your friends ask you random questions that you practice giving a lie as an answer too, so you won't be caught off guard at the polygraph.
Keep in mind, that's not the science of passing a polygraph, that's just my idea.

P.S.-The previous post about visualizing the right answer in your head seems like that could work.
However, what I was thinking about was practice having friends ask you questions along the lines of whatever you might have a concern about (AS/drug use?) and practice giving the incorrect answer. Have your friends ask you random questions that you practice giving a lie as an answer too, so you won't be caught off guard at the polygraph.

I did'nt think polygraphs were admissable as evidence?
Anyway, I believe they work on conductivity amongst other things. I think they use electrodes on the hand to register resistance, the theory is that when you lie, you sweat(I'm talking minute amounts, but it is registered on the polygraph) and the electrodes register and increase in conductivity. So I guess you could use an anti-persperant on your hands or perhaps talc.
If they test pulse(which is supposed to increase when you lie), then just down loads of coffee or ehpedrine, that will increase your heart rate, and the higher it is artificially, the less sensistive the sympathetic nervous system will be to mental influences..... or maybe beta blockers may help(they tend to slow the heart down.... I dunno, if they would help)
I guess you could try taking some valium so you are not so nervous and find it easy to lie without stressing.
Or as the others said, get used to 'lieing'; I thought that yes/no repitive thing sounded good.... get a friend to practise lying.
Myself, I would mentally block the question asked and answer another question I had mentally made up in my head, to help this I guess you could stick some Vaseline in your ears or something to make you 'hard of hearing' and can't hear the questions properly.

I've had someone go through this before and he was guilty as hell.
You have to totally fuck yourself up before you take it. I mean, take downers and drink. Whatever it takes to make you semi retarded but able to talk.
They will not be able to tell the truth from a lie. They'll know that something is up because your readings will be all over the place.
Also, they will play good guy before they test and show you the questions. It's not them being the good guy. They want you to see the Q's that you may lie on so the anxiety is there for them to read when they ask that loaded question.
The test questions are also fake at the beginning. They are just there to make you think that the test really works. Also raises anxiety levels.

for the love of god.......you have a computer so its not hard to find what your looking for. they will ask if you researched the test on the net. type in polygraph.com and you will se a guy who has been doing this for years. he was a cop for years and now sells his 26 page printout for like 40.00 but worth it if you nervous. he site has a bee and is called the stinger or something like that.

xanax, its better than valium, its a more potent tranqulizer as opposed to diazepam otherwise known as valium; valium is a mild sedative as well as a muscle relaxer. xanax is a sure thing.

just one more thing for you to consider, rather to prepare for, i had to give a statemenet in refernce to an accident in which a gun was pulled on me, one of the questions was: have you taken any sedatives or any other substances that might invalidate the results of this polygraph?
if at all possible, refuse to take the polygraph unless you don't have anything to lie about.
