I am looking for a laptop, used or refurbished, ....I have never bought from Amazon.com yet......

I dont really like e-shoping as you never know what you gonna get. What happens if you get an item that it is faulty? It will be a hassle to return it or get your money back.....

best advice I could give is, buy a lap top from best buy and buy the extended warranty.
If it breaks down they'll repair it up to 3 times. If it breaks down a 4th time, they'll replace it (you have as much credit as what you originally paid toward a new one).
Sometimes you'll get lucky like me, took in my laptop for the first time 2 years after purchase and they sent it to the repair center. Shit has changed so much that they no longer had parts to repair it, so I got a new one.

3 year warranty is $250
each time the unit is exchanged, you msut purchase a new warranty
but I think the upside is well worth the $250
I paln on having a new lap top evr y2 years or so, amd it'll only cost me $250

Best part of buying from Amazons user sales area is that you can select a bunch of
stuff from different people, and pay one total amount to Amazon via Visa.
They dole out the individual payments..
I buy 8 so CD's from different people and get the CDs mailed seperately,
but only pay one bill...

If you're buying directly from Amazon.com it's completely safe. They back up everything they sell. If you're buying from one of their 3rd party sellers it's different.
