you were allowed to go outside by yourself? If you have kids how old were they before they could go outside by themselves?

VooDoo Lady said:I live in a rural neighborhood with very little traffic....about 1.5 acres of land around my house. My son is 6 and my husband allows him to be outside by himself...I'm not entirely comfortable with it...but I'm a little on the over protective side. I thought I'd ask around and see what other people thought. All the other kids in the neighborhood are either a lot older or younger than my son...

trust me, canada has it's own share of murderers, rapists, gangs etc as well as a pretty lenient justice system. for example, under the new "young offenders act", they discourage arresting so-called "young offenders" (<18 yoa) and prosecuting them, instead, the police give them some sort of warning and let them go, even for crimes like car theft. what kind of shit is that? it's like vigilante justice is trying to be encouraged.p0ink said:
but you live in canada....canada has no crime. everyone is one big happy family, and no one feels the need to lock their doors.
or so a documentary, by a communist fuck, told me.
