How often do you detail your automobile???

I have a friend who is a professional detailer do my car twice a year. He buffs it like no one i have ever seen! Now that i have time i'll wash my car once a week!

i keep on top of my car.. i never pay to get it detailed... why pay some one when you can do it your self

Since I live in florida I always wax my car every 2 months and the reason being is the sun is brutal and the wax is the only thing that protects the clearcoat and paint.I just joined consumer reports online and they recommended doing it every 2 months as well. Some people can get away with more time due to the fact they garage their vehicle and may be away for long periods of time traveling,retirees, so they can get away with it.I wash my car once a week and if a flying elephant,bird, hits me I do not wait to wash it off because the acid in bird shit will ruin your paint. I had my car repainted in january and I had to wait 90 days before I had a detailer wax it out. It is a good idea to put some armor all on all your door seals once a month or so because they can crack and it is not cheap to have them replaced.CARNUBA WAXES are expensive but worth every penny because you want to save your paint and your wallet because paint jobs can be very expensive so a little wax goes a long way!

I never pay to have it done. I was my car eod and wax it every 3 weeks due to how often I wash it.
