How many years of school do i need to become an anethesiologist? And what type of schooling.. i know "medical school" but i mean exactly what kind of schooling.. people i've asked have said "idk, i think you need some nursing school"
My dad is an anesthesiologist and he got his 4 year BS, then went to grad school for 4 years and got his M.D. then had to spend 4 years in an anesthesiology residency.. then he got to do what he wanted to do.. it's not easy work
Well that depends but its a Phd. Theres probably uni´s undercutting the quality but it should be at least 11-12 years of after-HS education, assuming you pass every course the first time.
I have two friends that are anthesiologists (husband and wife) and I remember asking them this question. Shit, when they got married it was like a merger. Lots of money in that marriage.

this happens a lot actually
med school is so intensive and so is working in a hospital, a lot of romances form there and it is indeed a financially comfy marriage.
they come a lot worse though. check out Paris Hilton and her fiancee

hmm.. if its gonna be 12 years, i might as well just become a surgeon and start my own practice after a few years. then i could retire very comfortably.
