How much muscle?

I know I have asked this question before... How much muscle can a person expect to put on in a month? I know that the answer usually comes back: "well, it's all individual". Well what about if we considered the standard bell curve in statistics? What do you guys think the median muscle gained per month would be if you considered the whole population? Thnks in advance

PS I personally think it would be around 1 1/2 to 2lbs.

Umm sorry, that would be naturally. Also if you feel that there would be a difference btw trained and untrained, plz feel free to enlighhten us on both accounts. Thnx

I was told once upon a time that an 'average' person who has some previous lifting can expect to gain 3-5 pounds 'naturally' per year. And you already know that greatly depends on genetics, nutrition, dedication, techniques, etc. Plus how much LBM is of a concern.

This is simply too hard to quantiy, trained/untrained, AAS or clean simply too many variables. When I first started lifting I put on about approx 30lbs in my first year natural. It gets much harder after that.

Well, Arnold said,"The average man can add about forty pounds. I myself If I didn't train would have been about a 200 lb. man."

From my experience this is generally how it works:
First year w/ DILIGENT supplementation: you can easily put on 25-30lbs. I personally went from 160-220 in about 7 months.

Second year: 7-15 lbs., depending on how much fat you allow yourself to put on...the more you eat the more ya grow.
I used various prohormones at this time to get added size. I never skipped supplements or workouts.

First year with gear: expect to retain a good 12-15 lbs. from first cycle if done correctly. ONLY do it if you are going to eat and train like an animal.

you can speculate and over-analyze but the bottom line is you will never know until you try......but I have found in life that you can meet goals in time through hard work so good luck in your muscle gain...
