Age: 24
Income: $38,000

Yeah its not a lot I know but it puts food on the table and keeps up the health club membership :chainsaw:
 
I do auto repair, but I worked all through college so I have a lot of experience :)

Shit I thought it was fairly little most of my friends are in construction and make a lot mroe...
 
dayamn!!! that is a grip load of money. I was in this sweat shop in indonesia and they were paying like 3 cents a week for making these weird shoes with air in the insoles and a swoosh symbol on them. if we dirtied the shoes, then we got a buttstroke to the cheek and some steel toes to the ribs. I moved up though in that company and I got to QA the shoes while having guards with machine guns chase after me shooting rubber bullets at me, if my feet were comfortable after the chase then the batch was good.

Copier manufacturers are require by law to insert a device which will "stall" a copymachine when someone tries to scan money. Once it's stalled the only way to unlock it is to call the copier manufacturer. They're required to call the FBI (I believe) and report the incident. Strange but true.

Well... I can't post it as fact. I have been told by several copier manufacturers though. I heard it first through Canon and I heard it a couple of times when I worked at Toshiba.

I believe it's just for American money. It would be easy to tell if it was copying money. All it has to do is look for certain characteristics.

it looks for the water mark as well as the little strip in the bill if i remeber reading about it correctly somewhere, thats how they know what it looks like, however scanners do not work the same way :rolleyes:

besides, tons of mothers strip for a living. Its just the kind of job where u can work ur own hours and make between 200-500 ducks a day.

Actually, money is not even made out of paper. It's more like urban bullshit. I believe chesty posted something a while ago as to what money was really made out of. Some hard clothlike, washable substance I believe. Very interesting.

I actually was joking about printing money with a copier.....I don't know if the others knew I was joking. Everybody started throwing information out there about how it is illegal. I was kidding everybody.

I watched a special on TLC that showed how money was made. You are right that it is made from a clothlike substance. I believe it is very similar to denim. It was a fascinating show to say the least.

As for my income:

Income: More than what the taxman thinks....to be honest....I really don't know....my CPA does though. Maybe I'll ask
him one day.
 
u know, if i was into making "novelty" bills, Id gather up a whole bunch of one dollar bills, bleach the dye out of them, and print 100$ notes.

What kind of books do u write? Computer manuals?
 
Got my W-2's right here...........made about 55k last year as a Process Analyst for Agere Corp. Laid off from that now and working for Univeral Industrial as a Millright. Making less per hour but work massive hour. On track for about 90k this year but I'll never see that, either be dead from fatigue or just burn out. Probably make about 60k this year. I'm 34 years old BTW.

out of curiosity, what did you study in college, and how do you consult educationally? do you apply the learning methods devised by Rose, Gardner, etc. or what.
 
Buddy 28...I make high temp applications for electronics in the aerospace and military fields. Casings for electronics such as the guidance systems that went on the patriot missiles in the gulf war.

Computer manuals....sorta. Current project is a technical reference series. Longer term goal is to develop a peridocial which targets tech professionals directly and allows me to develop marketing strategies for new IT products.

Educational consulting is a little bit of a misnomer. I developed a series of lessons that became a course as part of a curriculum which has a great deal of value to today's HS student. I am not *really* a consultant for education, rather a guy who developed his own course and is trying to sell it to schools (with mixed results).

I studied Mathematics in college, but this idea is borne out of watching a friend make bad decison after bad decision.

Hmmm... I'm currently unemployed... within the next two years I plan on making 100K a year.

It's a tough market now... I've done 3 independant jobs for people I know... and I'm also have another source of income... just to help out. ;)

Nah! He doesn't have access to my checkbooks or none of my other accounts. He just keeps me out of jail! I guess he could transfer money by electronic means but shit...this is such a small town....I know everybody in the banks including the ones who transfer money from accounts and they pretty much look out for my interests. But shit....come to think about it....anything is possible these days! HMMMMMM...must check into that. Good point Kayne!
