How much do I have to eat!

Alright, I'm doin' OMNA 1cc every third day. When I'm not on gear I need to eat about 5000 cals/day to gain about 0.5 to 1 pound per week. If I eat under this my weight doesn't go up. I'm now 3 weeks into the cycle and trying to eat clean, but, shit, it's getting hard to slam 5000 cals/day of clean food. I wanna throw in some fast food to make up the difference, is this wise? Should I eat over 5000 to make the best of the cycle? When will I see my weight go up on OMNA? Is there really a santa claus? 6'2" 240lbs. Train 4x week, 2 muscle groups.
 
for my current cycle, i made it up to 220 and my weight stayed there until i really upped my calories. its nice to eat clean, but when you're bulking, its really hard to get enough calories from chicken breast and tuna. i try to throw in a couple double cheeseburgers from mcdonalds or something to make it easier to get the calories.

if you don't get more calories your not going to grow. if you get your calories from foods that aren't quite as "clean" then you may put on some fat, but thats not a huge problem.

WRITE DOWN exactly what u eat each day and the corresponding # of grams of protein and the # of calories. you will probably be surprised at what your daily food intake truely is. i thought i was getting in plenty of food until i did this. once i did i realized i wasn't giving my body as much as it needed and adjusted my food intake and my weight started going up again
 
i weigh 165 and i am 6'3.............i know shitty stats! (partially due to small bones) i have worked my way up from the 130 that i was when graduating high school in 99. i have never counted calories only protein. right now i am trying to eat 200 grams of protien a day. i want to start counting calories too. how many cals should i consume per day? my body fat is about 5 or 6 percent. no jokes about the stats please.
 
ok i have to take atleast 7k calories a day to gain wait...i know this can be a problem. and it is hard as hell to eat clean while eating 5k calories. so my advice is to eat all much clean food as you can manage...and if you need to eat some fast food. this is advice i got straight from jay cutlers mouth....he says he eats tons of fast food.
 
Ukfan81 I would say 5000 minimum. For someone with a metab like yours cals is every bit as important as protien. You need to eat all day and something heavy before you go to bed. If for some reason you wake up in the middle of the night eat some more. I would even get some flax seed oil or something to help. If you like milk, hammer it. I drink min 3/4 gallon whole milk per day sometimes more than one. I am up to 182 at six foot consume more fat than anyone I know and still at 5-6% BF so I am with you for the fast metab. I am getting so freekin sick of eating lol, but I try to motivate myself to eat the same way I do to lift. Just think of all the new mass you are building. Gimp I would think the same for you before fast food I would look at flax seed oil or something else. just my 2cents
 
BRO, I eat straight junk and fast food, the only clean food I get is when I go home for moms cooking, HGH and anabolics burn calories so fast that it doesnt even hurt, as long as you train hard and do cardio. quarter pounder please, make that 3 Q Ps
 
3000 cals a day for decent off-gear gains for me, i eat anything i need to get that much, don't really care about eating clean. I'm averaging 2000 cals for my current cutting cycle and I'm getting around 5lbs/week gain, go figure.

thanks...i will try to eat more. i was afriad of not eating clean and gaining unwanted fat. i am gonna shoot for 5000 cals a day and see where i end up.
 
Bro pm me and I can give you a solid 7,000 calorie diet that is manageable that I follow, gotta go to bed now though
 
Wow, I wish I could eat that much and not get fat...you guys must have some fast ass metabolisms. <jealous>

6000+ Calories for $8 a day. You could spend that much on one trip to a fast food place.

5,000 to 8,000 cal / day? Where do you guys get your food?

I'm averaging a $300/month food bill just for myself. I'm eating clean and buying as cheap as I can get.

What are you guys eating? How much each month is it costing?
 
Shit, I'm broke...the food bills are getting higher and higher, I'm seriously considering eating dog food to lower the costs. The bigger you get , the bigger the food bills get. It's all good though, at least with bodybuilding you can eat like a pig, imagine if you always had to deprive yourself of food? You'd be a whining, grumpy little bitch.
