Do you have any true friends ?

I didn't realize that I did until my divorce, 4 of them were right there by my side. I hope that when it counts I can be there for them. I am basically a loner, but certain people are drawn to me and vice versa. When they need an ear, I'm hear for them and they are always there for me.

growing up sucks, i had probably 5 or 6 good friends when i was 15-19 then from 19-23 i had 3 good friends, now that i'm almost 24 i can say i have 1 good friend i can trust, but he's 2000 miles away, but we always talked about when were both married with families will end up living by each other lol.....so pretty much i have ZERO friends......you always have God though EH!!

I'd say I'm close friends with about five people....closer to some than others. Then there's a whole wack of others....probably 10 or 15, but I don't see/talk to them enough.

Oddly enough, I'm not particularly close with my family but I have very strong friendships.

My best friend is my hubby, but my only other 2 true friends are male. Shhhh..don't tell Citruscide or anyone from B.I.T.C.H.E.S. lol. I have tended to have women friends that were catty and deceiptful (sp?) to me...but I know all women are not like that. I do have a close female friend, but she is way too religious and recites verse to me too much - not that there's anything wrong with it, but I like her as a friend. The other close female friend I have is a cop and I just can't shake that feeling that she might arrest me or something. lol

I totally agree. Yourself and in most cases you family are the only ones you can TRULY believe in.

Most friends seem true friends until you are in a desperate need for something, then if it's an inconvienence to them, they seem to disappear.

oh hell no on that one for me.. I trust Total strangers more than I trust most of my family. The only one that I could completely trust I lost last year... tore me apart. Everyone else are lier's, cheaters, and thieves
