How many times a day...

should I drink my Prolab Whey protein shake? Each shake contains 24 g of protein. Should I drink only 1 shake? 2? 3?
 
add another scoop to get 48g of protein. what are your goals by the way?
i'd say drink 2-3 shakes in between meals.
 
My goals are to get bulked up like a mofo!

BTW, the directions say only take one scoop in 16 oz of water. If I take 2 scoops, do I put it in 32 oz of water?
 
New Jack-Make sure you do exactly what they say or face drastic consequences!!LOL Bro put two scoops in as much water as needed for it to disolve. It depends on how you like to drink it. More water for thin shakes and less water for thick shakes. Obviously if it says 16oz for 1 scoop you can't go wrong with 32oz for 2 scoops. Pretty easy math buddy....Drink and grow...
 
Not to be a wise ass but I will probably end up taking 3 scoops in 32 oz of water and drink 3 shakes a day. Does that sound good?
 
The reason they want you to drink the extra water is so you don't get constipated. All that powder gets compacted. It happened to me and it sucks.

Your body can't absorb to much protein at one time.So I would stick to two searvings at a time.It really all depends on how much real food protein you take in a day.If you want to bulk up you need atleast a gram and a half to two grams of protein per bodyweight.(so 200lbs would need 250 to 300 grams to grow)
More if on a cycle.

ginger root increases protein absorbtion.....

I went and picked up some tonight.....it's really inexpensive.....It was like $3......

There is an excellent thread about ginger root and protein that was posted not long ago....very informative. Do a search for ginger root.
 
I would suggest only 1 shake and adjust your diet... I only drink 1 protein shake a day, and I get 420+ g of protein every day.... It's all about what and how much you eat... It saves me a shitload not having to buy 2 tubs of protein every 2-3 weeks...
