Holy fucking stupid

Never heard of it...............yes of course I know all about them. My yoga massage therapist works on mine.

What's that, a new perfume? Not sure why it's capitalized, and in the singular.

Now, chakras, on the other hand, yup.

Chakra Khan had a bunch of good songs in her career.

MM isn't Hindu or Buddhist. Lol

Not to say a Wiccan (pagan?) wouldn't/couldn't know or practice, but I don't believe that's it's origin.
You're correct to a degree. A "pure" wiccan or pagan may not be familiar with or utilize chakra work. However, I belong to a tradition that is syncretic (meaning it is a fusion of differing systems of belief). We are also encouraged to have outside spiritual interests/practices that can support the core of the tradition. Long story short, we do a LOT of work with chakras in particular and general energy body work.

Most mystical traditions have energy systems that correlate even though they may be very different. For instance, you can look at the Jewish mystical system of Qabala and overlay the tree of life on the human body and it matches up easily with the chakras. The same can be said of Chinese meridians used in acupuncture. Virtually every spiritual philosophy I've encountered, even (or especially) those used by native peoples have terms for and methods of working with the energies of the human body.

I figured you would be interested and know about these. It seems to be more of a spiritual thing, then say a hindu or buddhist only type deal. Maybe blueta, MM, and I should have a three way to discuss this more???? :qt: in the pm's of course.
